Blow molding needs heat that hits fast and stays focused. That’s why our heaters use shortwave infrared—it puts the energy right where you need it, on the PET preform. We set them up to run at industrial voltages, including 400V, so the power lines up with what your machine expects. The 300mm tube length is chosen to cover the heating zone cleanly, with no awkward overhang. Wattage is matched to the thermal load so the melt temperature stays steady, and the compact diameter keeps the heat profile tight. One thing to keep in mind: packing more wattage into a small space means the heater responds quickly—but it also means the surrounding parts and cooling need to be up to the task.
Built to Keep Repeating the Heat Cycle
The core is quartz because it stays stable under heat and jumps to temperature fast. Inside, a halogen element holds the filament steady, so the infrared output stays consistent even when the heater cycles on and off all day. We add a reflective coating that pushes energy forward, so more of it reaches the target and less gets wasted on the mounting hardware. For the hookup, we use standard connectors like R7s and SK15—the same kinds you’ll find on machines around the world. That’s how we make a true drop-in replacement. And the design resists the misalignment and shaky contact that often lead to early burnout.
