Technical Specs and Power Density
Our industrial infrared heaters are built for real-world conditions—tight spaces, tough electrical demands, and the need for serious power. Take a typical unit: 2500W packed into a tube that’s about 300mm long. That’s a lot of heat in a small footprint. It heats up fast, which is great, but it also means you’ve got to plan your electrical setup. Make sure your circuit can handle the load, no exceptions. And give some thought to cooling, too. The area around the heater will warm up, so your cooling system needs to be up to the task.
Material and Connector Design
The heating element lives inside a halogen-filled quartz tube. This design keeps the filament clean and stable, which is a big reason these units last so long. Quartz handles heat swings better than glass, so rapid on/off cycles don’t stress it out. For the electrical connection, we use standard connectors like the R7s. It’s a double-ended pin setup that gives you a solid, low-resistance connection. Power stays steady, and when it’s time to replace the unit, it’s a straightforward swap. No fuss.
Application and Maintenance
In industrial settings, these heaters shine at spot heating and drying tasks. They’re simple, effective, and tough. The catch? Keep them clean. Wipe the tube with a soft, dry cloth. Skip the solvents—they can strip away protective coatings. And don’t forget the reflector. A clean reflector keeps the heat focused where you want it.
