Our heater runs straight off a standard 12V battery bank. No inverter needed. So you keep every last watt your solar panels worked hard to collect. It’s simpler, cheaper, and just makes sense.

Inside, we use a halogen element wrapped in a quartz tube. Sounds technical, but what it means for you is simple: heat, instantly. No waiting around. No warm-up time. You flip it on, and the warmth hits you right away. Real-world energy independence
Let’s get practical. A typical 12V, 150W infrared heater pulls about 1.25 amps per hour when it’s running. On a sunny day, a 1kW solar array can easily produce around 4,000 watt-hours. That more than covers the heater’s 3,600 watt-hour daily need. So on clear days, you’re practically self-sufficient for heat. But nights and cloudy days? That’s when your battery bank takes over. To stay fully autonomous, size your battery bank to cover at least two days of heating. For most setups, that means a bank between 200-300 amp-hours, depending on how you use it. Plan right, and you’ll have heat—no matter what the weather does outside.
